The surface of a single stone contains the marks and lines of accumulated history. As these fragments come into my collection, I invest them with memory that creates ‘touch-stones’ to mark my passage through time. The rhythms of our life overlap those of the landscape in the same way that the perforated texture overlaps the surface of these prints.

The prints explore psychological aspects relating to interpersonal relationships; intimacy and detachment; the mundane repetition of daily television gatherings, and subtle gestures which aim to evoke a variety of moods and gestures.

There is a dynamic balance to be found in such ecological systems, which are increasingly being altered by shifting climatic patterns and environmental changes.
