This book is based on the sugarloaf mountain at Hallett Cove, South Australia, and I have used its lines of erosion to symbolise lost memories.

The accompanying abstract text is printed relief as well as intaglio, the first time I have experimented with printing my fine lino lines in this way. Sometimes the small intaglio printed piece is enclosed within a folded page. The text is there, but not visible. It seemed fitting to use this method; the filled lines can then represent the memories reformed or the story rewritten, but some parts will always remain hidden from view.
